Sern Yi's here!

Actually it should be titled Sern Yi WAS here....hahaha

YES he actually finally arrived! He told me he was gonna come more than a YEAR ago, but never showed up - until now! He actually flew in from Tazzy this morning, so since it was a holiday.... me and Li decided to go down to the city to "entertain" him hahaha :D

Well before we got there....we tried to come up of a list of things to do with him when he's here....and this was as far as we got :

1. Bring him to KOK
2. Go down to St. Kilda beach
3.Err...

We're talking about MELBOURNE here ok!!! Supposed to be the most happening place in d known world, but we couldn't think of anything to do!! Actually there were some things we cud have done, but it would have involved $$$ (i.e the Royal Mebourne Show)...and you know us being cheap asians....dowanla!!

Anwy when we met up with him at Vincent's place, to be honest he looked a little shagged. But it was good seeing him again tho (actually it's always good meeting someone from home :D ...right Li??). Anywho, we took him to KOK, and he tried the one and only Egg Chiffon Rice with some kind of Meat...Li and I took crispy pork while SY took BBQ pork ( now guys if i even bother to repeat what kind of dish we had, you have to realize how good it was!!) Then we were bloated, so we took a walk to the MAS office with Vincent to get SY's ticket printed...Man that place reminded me of Msia....long queues and only 3/5 counters open...typical!

Then we headed down to St. Kilda. The weather today was AWESOMEEE!!! We walked along the beach and out to a small pier where we proceeded to taker pictures, Li insisting to take most of em herself like she always does :D. Haven't got any off her so can't post anything for now, will post it soon....we even stopped by at Luna Park to see of there were any cheap rides...the sign up the front threw us off :

WHAT A RIP OFF!!! even the kids get charged like crazy....we turned and walked straight out of that place.....hahahaha and caught a tram back to Melbourne city...

I dunno what happened, but i guessed Li's girly instincts kicked in, and she wanted to go shopping, so we let her! So as she scurried off, we grabbed a drink and went out to State Library to talk. It's been awhile since i've actually talked to SY, so it was a good time of catching up. And the sun was setting about that time, and it was fun juz watching Melbourne hurry past as people rushed home from work.

We met up with Li again and went to Koko Black....gosh the Hot choc is just sinful, and Li had this wicked looking Ice Choc. SY decided not to have anything, maybe KOK was too much for him hahaha. then we headed back to Vincents, and...

THE DOOR WOULDN'T OPEN!!

We tried and tried to get the door open but it wouldn't! We sort of gave up at one point, and SY asked us to go home...den he leaned on the door and turned the key one more time and the door open! PHEW! so den we headed back to Clayton finally. Could see we were all so so tired, Li especially. i think she was also sien with us just being us hahaha. Met Lisa and Winston at Huntingdale who graciously gave us a lift back, den Li finally drove us home, but not wiithout stopping for some pizza first hehehehe Malaysians will be Malaysians :D.

All in all it was a fantabulous day!! Had fun with the two of them, and Vincent too when he was with us :D Thanks SY for cheering me up by coming here, even if it was only for a day, and thanks Li for making the trip so much more fun fun fun....and we finally got to Koko Black! but not satisfied...we need to go to Chaddy one...i think got more variety or something....one day la, we still need to get rid of the Hoyts tickets :(

I'm going fishing tmr!!! Gonna have more fun fun fun....And i've already dedicated my first fish i catch (IF i even catch anything) to someone....so hopefully i do catch something! happy studying u! :D
